Founder & Creative Director of Insync Printing, my friends call me “The Turbanator”! Well, I’ll let your imagination figure that one out ;)
I was born and raised in Amritsar in the State of Panjab in Northern India, known for its world-renowned Golden Temple. I moved to Portland, Oregon in my teen years with a responsibility to provide for my family in India. Like many 1st generation immigrants, I worked numerous jobs, saved money, learnt a lot along the way, and achieved success in the Land of Opportunity by becoming one of the world’s youngest Subway Franchisees in 2004. The Subway Franchise was my first business, and I fell in love with being a business owner ever since. I enjoy the freedom and flexibility that business ownership brings, setting your own schedule, taking the time off with family (when you can), and be able to actively participate in things that really matter in life. I got involved in the printing business in 2008 and ultimately established Insync Printing in 2015.
I love spending time with my family, that consists of my wife and 2 daughters. We all enjoy watching movies, going shopping, and actively participating in community activities like feeding the homeless, organizing the mercados in collaboration with our local non-profits to assist the less fortunate families, and serving on non-profit boards to help better organize projects. Additionally, I am honored to serve on Vancouver-WA Police Chief’s Diversity Advisory Team (CDAT), a subject matter expert (SME) with US Dept of Justice on Sikh Community Affairs, and a Sikh Community Liaison for the Portland FBI Division. I speak 5 languages: English, Hindi, Panjabi, Urdu and Indian Sign.
